Pursuant to a Procedural Order issued by the Arizona Corporation Commission on April 24, 2017 in connection with Rose Valley Water Company’s February 28, 2017 Application for an increase in its rates and charges for water service, an evidentiary hearing was held on October 17, 2017 before an Administrative Law Judge from the Commission’s Hearing Division. Witnesses for both the Company and the Commission’s Staff testified at that hearing. On October 25, 2017 the Hearing Division filed with the Commission’s Docket Control a Recommended Opinion and Order (“ROO”) prepared by the Administrative Law Judge who presided over the October 17, 2017 hearing, in which an increase in the Company’s current rates and charges for water service is being recommended in the amounts indicated and for the reasons discussed in the ROO. The ROO is tentatively scheduled to be considered by the Commission at its November 7-8, 2017 Regular Open Meeting.

For further information, the ROO may be accessed electronically through the Commission’s eDocket at Docket No. W-01539A-17-0060.
